New liquor licenses in Florida
The Florida record this page reads lists licenses once they're issued, not applications while they're pending; Florida publishes it at Florida DBPR. A newly issued license is the public sign of a place about to open. This page reads that record as often as Florida updates it and lists the new licenses by county, city and license type, each linked back to the record.

Where does the Florida data come from?
Every row is read from Florida DBPR, the public record Florida itself publishes, and links back to it. Nothing here comes from a reseller or a news report.
What is left out?
One-day and temporary permits (weddings, festival booths, charity auctions, tastings), and licenses nobody sells to: wholesalers, suppliers, importers, shippers, carriers, and employee or manager permits. Breweries, wineries and distilleries stay in. The first time we read a state we also treat everything it already listed as the starting point, not as new filings.
