Kentucky: New restaurants, new owners, and how to reach them.

A filing tells you who's opening and who's taking over. A new build needs a system before it opens. A takeover often decides at the handover, and the filing names the buyer.

Common questions

How early will I hear about a place?

A pending application is the earliest public sign in a liquor record, often weeks before opening. We can't tell whether they've picked a system, so ask. States that publish only issued licenses show up later, and each state page says which it is.

Will I know if they're under contract?

No. We show what they run when their own ordering page shows it, not contract terms, so ask about the early termination fee on a takeover.

New build or takeover?

Each filing says new owner, moving, a previously licensed address, or first license at the address, where the record lets us tell.

Can I text or autodial these numbers?

That's your call and your compliance. A public filing doesn't change the TCPA, and its rules can reach business cell phones.
