Liquor License Feed

Send new liquor license filings to Clay

A new liquor license filing is an early sign of a new bar or restaurant. Send each filing to a Clay table as it appears, then enrich it and route it to the right rep. Liquor License Feed and Clay are separate companies.

  1. Make a webhook table in Clay. Start a new table from Clay's Webhook source and copy the address it gives you.
  2. Paste it into your feed. On Your feed, paste the address under Send filings to Zapier, Clay or your CRM.
  3. Set your territory. The webhook sends the states and counties on your feed, so a rep's table only holds their patch. After each morning's run, every new filing posts as one row.
  4. Enrich the row. Add Clay's company, owner and email lookups, using the business name, street and city as inputs.
  5. Route it. Send the finished row to your CRM or a rep's sequence. Use county to assign the territory and kind to keep bars and restaurants apart from stores.

What each row contains

business, dba, street, city, state, zip, county, license_type, license_type_label, status, filed, record_url, contact, phone, kind, chain, change, first_seen. Every filing has a stable id, so a repeat delivery can be matched to the row you already have. Some states don't print a phone or a contact, so those fields can be empty.

Try it before you subscribe

Point an HTTP API step at a state's free sample, such as https://liquorlicensefeed.com/states/tx/sample.json. It returns up to 25 filings from a week a few weeks back, without phones or owners, so you can build the table first.
